Project papers EMR H2-Booster available

The EMR H2 Booster consortium just published the six summaries of the project papers (or case papers) that were developed over the past months. Project partner, LIOF, was responsible for this work package. You can find the papers on this website under ‘Studies’.

The case papers are in fact project plans, developed from ideas or actual project initiatives across the EMR region, that have been mapped by the consortium during the project. From this mapping list of over 50 project ideas, 4 important themes emerged, being: Hydrogen Bus connections, Inland shipping and barges, Hydrogen production and Hydrogen Labs or Hubs. Within these themes the most viable projects were picked to detail further in project plans or case papers.

“When a new subsidy scheme or program is open, the general experience is that the deadlines of 1 or 2 months are too tight to set up a consortium and develop a reasonable project plan. With the conclusion of these six case papers, the plans are ready to be submitted and can be ‘taken of the shelf’. For most plans, at least half of the potential consortium partners are also identified already,” explains Jan-Willem Tolkamp, Business Developer at LIOF.

Should you be interested to join and/or co-finance one of these project, please let us know and we will introduce you to the company or project manager involved. For three of the project papers, a high level business case study has been performed by external consultancy firms. For some projects, a summary was chosen to be published for reasons of confidentiality. The complete project plans and study reports can be made available to all seriously interested parties.
